ABOUT US
Born and raised in Iran, Farnaz Tabatabaee began playing classical piano at the age of 8 and has continued her musical journey ever since. In 2013, she started composing classical music and soon established herself as a freelance composer and producer, working from her own home studio and arranging numerous pop-orchestral pieces along the way.
In 2022, Farnaz broadened her horizons by studying film, TV, and video game composition at the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain. She also completed an internship as a composer assistant in San Diego, USA, at Laurent Eyquem's studio. Since then, she has composed extensively—serving as the main music editor for the film "Shadow Land," directed by James Bamford—and has scored the short film "Per Bruixa i Metzinera." She is currently working on the feature films "La Dona Tancada" and "Ma," and is in the post-production phase of her album with the French label Art Melodies, recorded with a 75-piece orchestra at the Fame Studio.
She is passionate about hybrid orchestration and thematic compositions. Her work blends organic instruments with electronic elements, adding a modern polish to orchestral arrangements.
